Standard Dosage Range
Research dosing range: 200–600 mcg (MGF), less frequent dosing (PEG-MGF)

Dosage by Use Case
Localized Muscle Growth (MGF)
4–8 weeks
Intramuscular injection into the targeted muscle immediately post-workout. Cycle with breaks to assess response and minimize potential side effects.
Muscle Recovery (MGF)
4–6 weeks
Intramuscular injection post-workout. Lower doses may be sufficient for recovery purposes compared to targeted growth.
Localized Muscle Growth (PEG-MGF)
4-8 weeks
PEG-MGF is pegylated which can increase its stability. Requires less frequent dosing compared to standard MGF. Intramuscular injection preferred
Timing & Frequency
Administer MGF immediately post-workout directly into the targeted muscle group. PEG-MGF can be administered at any time but is also preferrably given post-workout.
Cycle Guidance
Given the lack of extensive human data, cycling is recommended. A common approach is 6–8 weeks on, followed by 4–6 weeks off. Monitor for any adverse effects.
Reconstitution Reference
Quick reference for reconstituting MGF. For custom vial sizes and concentrations, use the Reconstitution Calculator.
| Common Vial Size | Typically 1–2 mg per vial |
| BAC Water Volume | 1 mL bacteriostatic water for 1–2 mg/mL concentration |
| Concentration & Draw | At 1 mg/mL: 100 mcg = 0.1 mL (10 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe) |
| Storage | Refrigerate at 2–8°C after reconstitution. Keep lyophilized powder at room temperature or refrigerated. |
| Stability | Reconstituted solution stable up to 14 days refrigerated. Lyophilized powder stable 12–24 months per manufacturer specifications. |
